Needles Sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and 4 (3.5 mm): straight. Size 3 (3.25 mm): 16" circular (cir).
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTES
This tank is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed. The lace overlay is worked separately and joined to the back along with the front. One edge of the lace overlay is sewn in at the side seam and the other edge is left free.
Stitch Guide
Tubular BO:
Set-up Rnd 1 *K1, sl 1 pwise wyf; rep from * to end.
Set-up Rnd 2 *Sl 1 pwise wyb, p1; rep from * to end.
Cut yarn, leaving a 2 (2, 2 1/4, 2 1/2, 2 1/2, 2 3/4) yd tail.
Step 1 With tail threaded on a tapestry needle, insert tapestry needle pwise into first st and pull through. Drop st from needle.
Step 2 Insert tapestry needle kwise into next purl st (first st on needle) and pull through. Leave st on needle.
Step 3 Insert tapestry needle kwise into dropped knit st, then pwise into next knit st on needle (2nd st on needle) and pull through.

Sew left side seam with only front and back. Holding lace overlay and front tog, sew front to back at shoulders.
Right armhole edging: With smaller cir needle and RS facing, holding lace overlay tog with front, pick up and knit 94 (100, 112, 120, 134, 140) sts around armhole edge, working through both layers of fabric on front. Neckband: With smaller cir needle and RS facing, holding front and lace overlay tog and beg at left shoulder, pick up and knit 56 (58, 62, 62, 64, 64) sts through both layers of fabric along front neck edge, then 50 (54, 56, 58, 60, 60) sts along back neck edge—106 (112, 118, 120, 124, 124) sts total.
