TENSION

19 sts and 34 rows to 10cm over Moss Stitch using 5mm needles.

21 sts and 25 rows to 10cm over Lace Stitch using 4.5mm needles.

Use larger or smaller need les if necessary to obtain correct tension.

Change to 4.5mm needles and work in Lace St as folls:

Row 1 (RS): K1[4:2:0:3:0:3:1], Lace St Row 1 across 91 [91:101:111:111:121:121:131] sts, k1[4:2:0:3:0:3:1].

Row 2: P1[4:2:0:3:0:3:1], Lace St Row 2 across 91 [91:101:111:111:121:121:131] sts, p1[4:2:0:3:0:3:1]. (Note all sts are purl.)

Shape raglans

Cont in patt and cast off 3 [4:4:5:5:6:6:7] sts at beg of next 2 rows. 87[91:97:101:107:109:115:119] sts.

Sizes 1 and 2 only

Work one row. Put sts onto a stitch holder.

All other sizes

Dec 1 st at each end of next and every alt RS row to 55[59:61:63:65] sts. Work one row. Put sts onto a stitch holder.

SLEEVES

Using 5mm needles, cast 37(37:39:39:41:41:43:43] sts. Work in Moss St over all sts for 4cm (1.5in), ending with a RS row. 

Next row (inc) (WS): P6[6:7:7:8:8:9:9], (m1, p5) to last 6[6:7:7:8:8:9:9] sts, m1, p6[6:7:7:8:8:9:9]. 43 [43:45:45:47:47:49:49] sts. 

Change to 4.5mm needles and work in Lace St as folls:

Row 1 (RS): K1[1:2:2:3:3:4:4], Lace St Row 1 [13:13:13:13:1:1:3 ] across 41 sts, k1[1:2:2:3:3:4:4].

Row 2: P1[1:2:2:3:34:4], Lace St Row 2[14:14:14:14:2:2:4] across 41 sts, p1[1:2:2:3:3:44]. (Note all sts are purl.) 

These 2 rows set patt. Cont in patt, working incs in patt as sts allow as folls:

Row 5 (inc): Patt 1 st, m1, patt to last st, m1, patt 1. 45 [45:47:47:49:49:51:51] sts.

Work inc row every 6[6:6:6:6:6:6:4] rows till there are 71 [75:79:79:79:83:87:91] sts. 

Cont straight in patt until 8[8:8:8:8:9:9:9] full 14 row patts have been completed. (NB where the first patt row was not Row 1, this partial pattern is not included in this pattern count), ending with a WS row.

Shape raglans

Keeping patt correct cast off 3[44:5:5:6:6:7] sts at beg of next 2 rows. 65(67:71:69:69:71:75:77] sts.

Dec 1 st at each end of every RS row till there are 33(33:31:37:39:41:39:37] sts.

Dec 1 st at each end of next and every alt RS row to 29 sts. Work three rows. Put sts onto a stitch holder.

YOKE

Assemble the sts and work flat as folls: With RS's facing, using 5mm needles and starting at Back, k sts from Back holder, k across Left Sleeve, then Front, then Right Sleeve. 152[156:168:176:180:184:184:188] sts.

Next row (WS) (dec): P10(7:11:9:11:7:7:9], *p2tog, p11[12:10:11:11:12:12:12]; rep from * to last 12(9:13:11:13:9:9:11] sts, p2tog, p10[7:n:9:11:7:7:9]. 141(145:155:163:167:171:171:175] sts.

Work in Moss St for 27cm (10.5 in), ending with a RS row. Cast off in pattern.

TO FINISH OFF

Sew raglans together, including the neckband on Back right side, reversing the side of the stitching on the neckband.

Sew the sleeve and side seams. Block lightly to stretch out pattern and weave in ends.
