TO FINISH OFF

Press pieces.

Join underarm seams by grafting together the 2 sets of 6 sts at each underarm as folls:

Using a blunt tapestry needle and matching yarn:

1. Lay the piece edge to edge. From the back of the work, insert the needle through the first stitch on RH side of the lower piece of fabric.

2. Insert needle through first stitch of upper piece, also from the back of the work.

3. Insert needle through first stitch on lower piece, this time from front to back. Then bring needle from back to front through next stitch on the lower piece. Zigzag from one piece to the other pulling the yarn through as you go.

4. Take care to keep the new row of stitches even and to the same tension as the rest of the fabric. Darn in loose ends.
