PATTERN NOTES

It is also slightly longer than the rib section so that it can be draped around the shoulders more easily.
Yarn is used doubled throughout.

TO FINISH OFF
Weave in any loose ends and then soak in lukewarm water for 15 minutes using a suitable wool hand wash. Rinse thoroughly. Roll in a clean, dry towel to remove excess moisture and then block, so that rib section measures 47cm x 88cm (18.5in x 34.5in), and lace section measures 47cm x 132cm (18.5in x 52in)
When dry, remove pins and with RSs facing, join cast-on to cast-off edge using backstitch or mattress stitch if preferred.
