The oversized silhouette of this jacket fits from sizes Small to Large.

Materials: Lana Grossa

"Bombolo" (30% Super Kid Mohair, 20% Merino Wool, 40% Acrylic, 10% Polyamide, yardage = 65 m/50 g) 450 g dark gray (#12).

"Marmo" (51% Cotton, 27% Merino Wool, 22% Polyamide, yardage = 90 m/50 g) 250 g burgundy/off white/ mocha (#5).

Knitting needles, one pair each sizes US 10 1/2 and 11 (7 and 8mm), one circular needle size US 10 1/2(7mm).

Garter st: Knit every row, in rnds: alternate purl 1 rnd, knit 1 rnd.

Slip St Pat: follow Chart.

Gauge: Slip St Pat with US 11 (8mm) needles: 11.5 sts and 24 rows = 4 x 4"/10 x 10 cm.

Back: With US 10 1/2 (7mm) needles and "Bombolo", cast on 62 sts and work in garter st for 1 1/2"/4 cm, and on the last WS row inc 9 sts evenly spaced = 71 sts. Change to US 11 (8mm) needles and cont in Slip St Pat, beg with 2 sts before the rep, work 4-st rep, end with 5 sts after the rep. Cont in pat as established until piece measures 27 1/2"/70 cm from beg. For the shoulder shaping bind off 6 sts at beg of next 4 rows, then 7 sts at beg of next 2 rows, at the same time, for the neck shaping bind off the center 29 sts and working both sides at once, bind off 2 sts from each neck edge once.

Front: Work same as Back until piece measures 26"/66 cm from beg. For the neck shaping bind off the center 21 sts and working both sides at once, bind off 2 sts from each neck edge 2 times and 1 st 2 times.

Sleeves: With US 10 1/2 (7mm) needles and "Bombolo" cast on 30 sts and work in garter st for 1 1/2"/4 cm, and inc 5 sts evenly spaced across last WS row = 35 sts. Change to US 11 (8mm) needles and cont in Slip St Pat working from chart, and inc 1 st each side on the 11 th row above garter band, then alternately every 10th and 12th row 7 times = 51 sts. Work inc sts into pat. Work even until piece measures 18"/46 cm from beg. Bind off. 

Finishing: Sew shoulder seams. With RS facing, circular needle and "Bombolo", pick up and k approx 83 sts evenly around neck edge. Join and work in rnds of garter st for approx 1 1/4"/3 cm, then bind off sts loosely. Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
