9 sts and 8 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4 in) over pattern using a 6mm hook or size required to achieve tension

Fronts, Back and Sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up. The front pocket and right front panel are worked as one continuous piece, then the pocket is folded over front panel and sewn along centre seam. Beg ch1 and ch2 turning chains do not count as sts throughout.

TO FINISH
Using mattress st, sew Fronts and Back tog along side seams and shoulders.
Pin Sleeves into armholes ensuring the Sleeve is evenly placed, then sew up armhole.
Fold pocket upwards level with hem and sew along the front right edge.
Sew button in place, aligning it with the buttonhole.
NECKLINE EDGING
Row 1 With RS facing, join yarn at top of the right front, ch1, dc evenly around neckline to opposite front edge, turn.
Row 2 Ch1, dc in each dc around neckline, turn.
Row 3 Ss in each st around.
LEFT FRONT EDGING
Row 1 Dc evenly along front edge to hem. Fasten off.
POCKET EDGING
Row 1 With RS facing, join yarn at top of the pocket, ch1, dc evenly along pocket edge to end of pocket.
Fasten off.
RIGHT FRONT EDGING
Row 1 With RS facing, join yarn at bottom of the right front, ch1, dc evenly along front edge to neckline. Fasten off.
Weave in all ends.
