YOU WILL NEED

■ Rowan Creative Focus Worsted (75% wool, 25% alpaca 100g/200m ball), yarn shades and amounts in table

■ A6mm (US J/10) hook

TENSION

Stitch tension: the htr section of sts measures approx 10cm with a 6mm hook.

Row tension: 5.8 rows measures 10cm over the htr section with a 6mm hook.

ABBREVIATIONS

htr4tog (Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop) 4 times, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

tr4tog (Yarn over, insert hook in next st, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops) 4 times, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

dtr4tog ([Yarn over] twice, insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops] twice) 4 times, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

NOTE

3 balls of yarn may only just be enough for size 12-14, depending on tension.

The waist measurement will be larger than needed. To wear as a skirt, you could add belt loops or work rows of dc around the edge as a waistband.
