Tension

3 pattern repeats across and 10 rows over pattern, measure 12 x 12cm, using 4.50 hook.

1 st row: 6ch (counts as 1 tr and 3 ch), miss first tr, 1 tr in next tr, [2 ch, 1 dc in next 3 chsp, 2 ch, 1 tr in next tr, 3 ch, 1 tr in next tr] to end, turn.

Join shoulder seam. Neckband

Lower edging

Sew top 3 rows of sleeve to sts of armhole shaping on back and front. Join side and sleeve seams. With right side facing and using 4.50 hook, join yarn to lower edge at side seam, 1 ch, 1 dc in same place as join, 1 ch, work [1 dc, 1 ch] twice in each 2 chsp and [1 dc, 1 ch] in each 1 chsp all round, slst in first dc. 

Next round: Slst in first chsp, 1 ch, 1 dc in same place as slst, 1 ch, [1 dc in next chsp, 1 ch] to end, slst in first dc. Fasten off.

Sleeve edging

With right side facing and using 4.50 hook, join yarn to lower edge of sleeve at seam, 1 ch, 1 dc in same place as join, 1 ch, work [1 dc, 1 ch] twice in each 3 chsp and [1 dc, 1 ch] in each 2 chsp all round, slst in first dc. 

Next round: Slst in first chsp, 1 ch, 1 dc in same place as slst, 1 ch, [1 dc in next chsp, 1 ch] to end, slst in first dc. Fasten off.
