SCARF
Ch 189.
Row 1: Sc 1 in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (188 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc 1 in each st across.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), work in cross-stitch across, ending with dc 1 in last st, turn.
Rep rows 2 and 3 until piece measures 6".
Work 2 rows of sc. Fasten off.
HAT
Ch 34, do not join.
Row 1: Sc 1 in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (33 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc 1 in bio of next 6 sts, sc 1 in next 27 sts, turn.
Row 3 (WS): Ch 3 (counts as dc), work cross-stitch over next 27 sts, dc 1 in last 5 sts.
Rep rows 2 and 3 until piece measures 20", ending with row 3.
Do not break yarn.
With right sides together, sew seam using sl st. Do not break yarn.
Shape crown
Rnd 1: Ch 2, dc 1 in each ch-sp around top opening.
Working in continuous spiral, dc2tog around until crown closes. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends. Block.
