Notes

Begin every sc rnd with ch 1. Begin every dc rnd with ch 3. Sl st in first st to end all rnds.

RIGHT MITTEN

Next rnd: Ch 3, dc 2, dc2tog, dc to last 4 sts, dc2tog, dc to end, join. (33 sts)

Hand

Work even in dc until piece measures 3 /2" from thumb opening.

Shape top

Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc2tog, *dc 1, dc2tog; rep from * around. (22 sts)

Rnd 2: Ch 3, *dc2tog; rep from * around, end dc 1. (12 sts)

Rnd 3: Rep rnd 2. (7 sts)

Cut yarn, weave through sts, pull tight and secure.

Thumb

Join yarn to thumb opening.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, work 15 dc evenly around, join. (15 sts)

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc 1, *dc2tog, dc 2; rep from * around, end dc 1, join. (12 sts)

Work even in dc for 3 rnds.

LEFT MITTEN
