TENSION
28 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over patt
HAT
With circular needles and yarn A cast on 144 sts. Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist the sts. Place marker to indicate the beg of round.
Round 1: *K2, P2; rep from* to end. Continue in rib for 7 more rnds.
Rounds 9 and 10: Knitusingyarn A.
Round 11: Work row 1 of the chart. The chart is repeated 9 times on a round.
Continue working the chart, reading all rows from right to left, and decreasing as indicated. When you have too few sts to go around the circular needles, change to DPNs.
When the chart is completed there are 18 sts remaining. Cut the yarn and thread it through the remaining sts. Pass the end through the hole in the middle and pull tight on the wrong side.
FINISHING
Fasten all loose ends and carefully block the hat to measurements, following any instructions on the ball band.
