• Sizes G/6/4mm and H/8/5mm crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge

PATTERN NOTES
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Chain-2 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first half double crochet and chain-1 unless otherwise stated.
Draw up yarn on bobbles for Hot Pad to 3/4-inch height; draw up yarn on bobbles for Coaster to 1/2-inch height.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Rnd 3: With RS facing, join happy go lucky in any ch-1 sp, working to 3/4-inch height, (see Pattern Notes), bobble (see Special Stitches) in same sp, (ch 3, bobble) in each ch-1 sp around, ch 3, join in top of first bobble. Fasten off. (16 bobbles, 16 ch-3 sps)
