MATERIALS

• Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet size 10 crochet cotton (white: 400 yds per ball; solids: 350 yds per ball):

100 yds #1 white

25 yds #422 golden yellow

5 yds #397 wasabi

• Size 0/2.50mm steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

• Tapestry needle

GAUGE

With 2 strands held tog: Rnds 1-4 = 3 inches;

With 1 strand white: 3 dc = 1/2 inch

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Chain-5 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet and chain-2 unless otherwise stated.

Chain-8 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet and chain-5 unless otherwise stated.

Chain-6 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet and chain-3 unless otherwise stated.

SPECIAL STITCH

Cluster (cl): *Yo hook 2 times, insert hook in side of indicated st, yo, draw up lp, [yo, draw through 2 lps on hook] twice, rep from * once in side of same st, yo, draw through all 3 lps on hook.

Rnd 2: [Sc, ch 1, 5 dc, ch 1, sc] (petal made) in each ch-2 sp around, do not join. (6 petals)

Rnd 3: Sc in sp between first and last petals, ch 6, *sc in next sp between petals, ch 6, rep from * around, join in first sc. (6 sc, 6 ch-6 sps)

Rnd 4: [Sc, ch 1, 9 dc, ch 1, sc] (large petal made) in each ch-6 sp around, join in first sc. Fasten off. (6 large petals)

Tack Flowers to sc sts of rnd 11, evenly sp around edge of Dishcloth.
