Instructions

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch; ch 3 (counts as a dc throughout), turn.

Row 2: Work 2 dc in base of ch (half shell made); *sk 4 sc, shell in next sc; rep from * across to last 5 sts, sk 4 sc, 3 dc in last sc (half shell made); ch 4, turn.

Row 3: (Dc, ch 2, dc) in sp between half shell and next shell; *ch 2, (dc, ch 2, dc) in sp between next 2 shells; rep from * across to last half shell, (dc, ch 2, dc) between last shell and last half shell, ch 1, dc in top of turning ch; ch 3, turn.

Row 4: *Shell in center ch-2 sp of next (dc, ch 2, dc) group; rep from * across, ending last rep with dc in 3rd ch of turning ch-4; ch 5, turn.

Row 5: Dc in base of ch-5; *ch 2, (dc, ch 2, dc) in sp between next 2 shells; rep from * across, ending with ch 2, (dc, ch 2, dc) in top of turning ch; ch 3, turn.
