Cluster shell (CL shell): In specified st work (CL, ch 3, CL, ch 3, CL): CL shell made.

Instructions

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch; ch 1, turn.

Row 2: Sc in each sc; ch 1, turn. 

Row 3: Rep row 2.

Row 4 (RS): Sc in first sc; *sk 3 sc, CL shell in next sc, sk 3 sc, CL in next sc; rep from * across to last 8 sts, sk 3 sc, CL shell in next sc, sk 3 sts, sc in last sc; ch 6 (counts as a dc and ch-3 sp of following row), turn. 

Row 5: *Sc in center CL of next CL shell, ch 3, sc in next CL; rep from * across to last CL shell, ch 3, sc in center CL of last CL shell, ch 3, dc in last sc; ch 1, turn.

Row 6: Sc in dc; *3 sc in next ch-3 sp, sc in next sc; rep from * across to turning ch, 4 sc in turning ch-6 lp; ch 1, turn.

Row 7: Sc in each sc; ch 1, turn.

Rep rows 2-7 for patt. End by working a row 3.
