Cluster (CL): *YO, insert hook in specified st or ch and draw up a lp to height of a dc; YO and draw through 2 lps; rep from * once in same st, YO and draw through 3 lps: CL made.

Shell: (CL, ch 2) twice in specified st, CL again in same st: shell made.

Instructions

Work beg ch with color A. Carry color not in use loosely up side of work. 

Row 1: With color A, sc in 2nd ch from hook; *sk 3 chs, shell in next ch, sk 3 chs, sc in next ch; rep from * across, changing to color B in last st; with color B, ch 6 (counts as a dc and ch-3 sp of following row), turn.

Row 2: With color B, *sc in center CL of next shell, ch 3, dc in next sc, ch 3; rep from * across, ending last rep with dc in last sc; ch 3, turn.

Row 3: Work (CL, ch 2, CL) in first dc; *sc in next sc, shell in next dc; rep from * across to ch-6 turning ch, work (CL, ch 2, CL) in 3rd ch of turning ch, changing to color A in last st; with color A, ch 1, turn.

Row 4: Sc in top of first CL; *ch 3, dc in next sc, ch 3, sc in center CL of next shell; rep from * across, ending last rep with sc in top of last CL; do not work in turning ch, ch 1, turn.

Row 5: Sc in first sc; *shell in next dc, sc in next sc; rep from * across, changing to color B in last st; with color B, ch 6, turn.
