Work beg ch with color A.

Row 1 (RS): With color A, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 3 chs; *ch 3, sk 3 chs, sc in next 3 chs; rep from * across, end last rep with sc in last 4 (rather than 3) chs; ch 1, turn.

Row 2: Sc in first 4 sc; *ch 3, sk ch-3 sp, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * across, end last rep with sc in last 4 (rather than 3) sc; change to color B, ch 1, turn.

Row 3: With color B, sc in first sc; *ch 3, sk next 3 sc, 3 sc in next ch-3 sp; rep from * across to last 4 sc, ch 3, sk 3 sc, sc in last sc; ch 1, turn.

Row 4: Sc in first sc; *ch 3, sk ch-3 sp, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * across to last 4 sts, ch 3, sk ch-3 sp, sc in last sc.
