An Early Winter Jacket



This easy-to-wear jacket features a comfortable, relaxed fit, set-in sleeves and chic granny square trim around the neck and fronts. Vertical post-stitch "stripes" in the body add slenderizing lines.

There is approximately a 3-inch opening between Fronts with no closure.

Front post double crochet over front post double crochet (fpdc over fpdc): On RS row, fpdc around fpdc 2 rows below, sk sc behind new st, on WS row, sc in top of fpdc.

Beginning cluster (beg cl): Ch 3, holding back last lp of each st on hook, 2 dc in same place as beg ch-3, yo, pull through 3 lps on hook.

Cluster (cl): Holding back last lp of each st on hook, 3 dc as indicated in instructions, yo, pull through 4 lps on hook.

There should be 8 Motifs down each Front with 4 Motifs across Back.

Pin in place so that Motifs match on each side.

Front Border

Finishing

Fold 1 Sleeve in half lengthwise, place fold at shoulder seam, sew in place.
