Shape armholes
Bind off 6 (8, 8, 10, 12) sts at beg of next 2 rows; 103 (111, 123, 129, 137) sts. Work even until piece measures approx 25" from beg, ending with a WS row.
Shape shoulders
Bind off 8 (9, 10, 11, 12) sts at beg of next 6 rows, then bind off 6 (7, 10, 10, 11) sts at beg of next 2 rows; 43 sts. Bind off.
Left front
Pocket lining (make 2)
With larger needles, cast on 41 sts. Work in hurdle patt for 6", ending with row 2. Place on holder.
With larger needles, cast on 57 (63, 69, 75, 81) sts. Work in hurdle patt for 7", ending with row 2.
Next (pocket) row (RS): Work in patt across first 8 (11, 14, 17, 20) sts, with RS facing, place next 41 sts on a stitch holder, hold one pocket lining in back of work and work in patt across lining sts, work to end of row.
Work-even in patt until piece measures approx 15 1/2 (15, 15, 14 1/2, 14)" from beg, ending with a WS row.
Shape armhole
Bind off 6 (8, 8, 10, 12) sts at beg of next row; 51 (55, 61, 65, 69) sts. Work even until piece measures approx 18" from beg, ending with a RS row.
Shape neck

Work as for left front, reversing all shaping.
Sleeves
With larger needles, cast on 57 sts. Working in hurdle patt, inc 1 st each end of row every other row 0 (0, 0, 0, 4) times, every 4 rows 0(11, 15, 26, 31) times, then every 6 rows 26 (18, 14, 6, 0) times, working new sts in patt as they accumulate; 109 (115, 115, 121, 127) sts.
Work even in patt until the piece measures approx 20 1/2 (20 1/2, 19 1/2, 19 1/4, 18 1/2)" from beg. Bind off.
FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams.
Front and neck edging
With RS facing and smaller needles, beg at lower left front edge, pick up and knit sts evenly along left front edge, along neckline, and down right front edge. Bind off knitwise.
Pocket trim
With RS facing and smaller needles, place held 41 sts from pocket holder on needles. Join yarn. Bind off knitwise.
Sew pocket linings to WS of fronts. Sew sides of pocket edgings to RS of front.
Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams. Sew zipper in place. Weave in ends.
