B Bronze Green (43); 5 x 50g balls

C Fuchsia (787); 1 x 50g ball

E Cranberry (703); 1 x 50g ball

NEEDLES & ACCESSORIES

1 set 4mm (UK 6/US 8) circular needles, 80cm long

Tapestry needle

TENSION 25 sts and 27 rows to 10cm over Fair Isle on 4mm needles.

BORDER PATTERN

Using yarn B and 4mm circular needles, cast on 169 sts.

Rowl (RS): Knit.

Row 2 (WS): Purl.

Row 3: K1 * Sl 1 pwise, Kl; rep from' to end.

Row 4: Kl * yf, Sl 1 pwise, yb, Kl; rep from * to end.

Repeat Rows 1-4, 7 more times. Breakyarn, join in Yarn A.

MAIN SECTION

Beg with a RS row, work 4 rows in st st. Continuing in st st and using the Fair Isle technique, follow Rows 1-112 through Charts 1-5, working RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right, and repeating the stitches within the red box. Repeat Charts 1-5 once more. Work 4 rows in Yarn B in st st. Break yarn, join in Yarn A.

TOP BORDER

Work Rows 1- 4 of border pattern, 8 times. Cast off loosely.

SIDE BORDERS Using Yarn A, with Right Side facing, pick up and knit 203 sts down long side. Purl 1 row.

Work Rows 3-4 of border pattern once.

Work Rows 1-4 of border pattern 7 times.

Complete second side border to match. Sew in ends and block carefully.
